Over the long break I did 3 random acts of kindness towards a stranger, a family member, and a friend.
The random act of kindness towards a stranger was the Saturday after Christmas and my mom and I went to the grocery store. Apparently everyone else in Brooklyn Park had the same agenda as us because the grocery store was really crowed and everyone seemed to arrive at the same time. My mom told me to grab a cart so I did, then as I pushed my way through a bunch of people grabbing for carts I saw a little old lady without one, I generously handed her mine and she smiled and replied "Thank You". I felt very good after I did this because It was just a nice thing to do for someone.
The 2nd random act of kindness I did was for my mom when she was at work, and It was the day before Christmas Eve and she was already stressing out over having relatives coming. So I decided to wake up very early and start cleaning the whole entire house. I vacuumed, dusted, washed the mirrors, did laundry, and every other chore I could think of. I did all of the Christmas cleaning by myself and my mom was very happy with me. It felt good to do this because my mom does a lot for me, and It wa sjust one less thing she had to worry about.
The 3rd random act of kindness was when me and my friend decided not to give each other gifts for the holidays. But I still made her a tie blanket, just because I knew she love it and it matched her room.
